Combodo is pleased to announce a new release for this new year. The maintenance release 1.0.2 of iTop is planned for January 19th, but the 1.0.2-beta version is already available for your testing.
What’s new in 1.0.2?
This maintenance release introduces the support of 3 languages:
Chinese (thanks to Deng Ling)
- Russian (thanks to Vladimir Shilov)
- Turkish (thanks to Izzet Sirin)
A number of usability improvements have also been added:
Improved handling of "external keys" in the forms, with quick "search" and "create" buttons
Better support of Internet Explorer 8. A few bugs related to IE 8 have been fixed.
CSV import enhancements. The interactive CSV import wizard has been further improved, with a new confirmation dialog.
A command line mode is also available for your bulk imports
How to upgrade?
iTop 1.0.2 is fully backward compatible with iTop 1.0 and 1.0.1. To upgrade an existing iTop installation, simply replace the PHP files with the new version.
