What’s new in 1.2.1?

The version 1.2.1 of iTop is mostly a maintenance release aimed to provide stability and bug fixes. However there are a few new features:

 Query Phrasebook

Write OQL queries that can be run by end-users and integrated into Excel for building reports based on live data.

 Audit performance

The interactive audit now runs faster (and uses less memory) when auditing large sets of data.

 Data Synchronization Enhancements

The data synchronization can now run by "chunks" to allow importing a lot of data even on a system with little memory. The synchronization now automatically retries some non fatal errors due to missing external data. Also the search and display of replicas has been improved for an easier troubleshooting of the synchronization.

 Minor changes

About 30 minor enhancements and bug fixes have been implemented in this release. For the complete list of modifications, have a look at the README file.

How to upgrade?

Install iTop into a new directory and run the installation wizard to upgrade to the new version.
