The IT service management solution iTop Professional Plus receives the ITIL Compliance award "SERVIEW CertifiedTool". Experts at the Bad Homburg consulting company SERVIEW certifies it for eight processes ITIL compliance. The label is given to software solutions that meet the high standards of the independent consultancy firm.

"This award for iTop Professional Plus proves that the cost savings to our customers thanks to the consistent open source approach do not result in any reductions in the quality of the suite," says David M. Gümbel, CEO of ITOMIG GmbH, in charge of the certified version. "Even in regard to technical performance, we are highly competitive. We have CMDB instances with more than 400,000 configuration items (CIs) such as the one run by Airbus and ticket volumes in the five to six figures per year. This clearly illustrates our technical competitiveness."

The "SERVIEW CertifiedTool" certificate is offered by the independent consulting company SERVIEW since 2003, and offers a decision aid in the selection of software solutions while supporting the implementation of the best practices.
